Kunvarbai Mameru Yojana is a scheme run under the Social Welfare Branch of the Government of Gujarat. It benefits Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe girls. After they get married, they can avail of this scheme, which is also known as the Mangalsutra scheme.

The scheme has been launched to provide financial assistance to the brides belonging to the poor sections of Scheduled Castes and Tribes after their marriage.

On the occasion of the marriage of two adult Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe girls under Kunvarbaiina Mamera Yojana (to brides married after 1/4/2021), an assistance of Rs.12000/- will be paid as per the revised rate while to the brides married before this date as per the old rate. The assistance of Rs.10000/- will be paid.

• Annual family income in rural areas is Rs. 1,20,000 should not exceed.
